Russian-English Reviewer/Translator - ON SITE IN MOSCOW




We are currently looking for an experienced Russian reviewer available to work full-time (40 hours per week) at an onsite position, in client's offices in Moscow, Russia. The throughput required is 1000 words an hour.


Responsibilities
Working closely with the Russian language specialist, linguist will:
- Test and fix live UIs of existing products
- Maintain terminology in glossaries and TMs as required, maintain the Styleguide.
- Review and audit content translated by agencies (UI, Help, Marketing materials, Legal, etc.). Provide feedback and work with vendors to improve quality of translations to ensure Google quality requirements are followed by all vendors.
- Fix linguistic bugs as required.
- Interact with translators and other reviewers in linguistic discussions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders when necessary.


Requirements
- BA/BS in translation or a related discipline.
- 2 years of experience minimum as a translator/reviewer.
- Fields of experience: IT, software localization, online advertising, multimedia, and marketing.
- Detail-oriented, quality-focused, flexible and proactive.
- Ability to creatively adapt materials to meet the needs of local users.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience as an in-house translator with an IT company preferred.
- Knowledge of CAT tools, Idiom preferred.
